WILLCOM released two new models of smart phone. Two years ago, it released W-ZERO3 which soon became a great hit and led to smart phone boom as many other carriers entered the market successively.

1  UMPC with a PHS telecommunication facility WILLCOM D4, Made by Sharp

WILLCOM D4 carried the latest operating system of Microsoft, Windows Vista®. It not only corresponds with wide range of software, internet service and various mobile functions, but also becomes the first mobile terminal in the world that carries Intel ® Centrino® Atom™ processor technology, which makes low power consumption possible. 

A 3-Way operation styles are adopted in the model: view style with closing keyboard、input style with sliding keyboard, and desk style, which enables operation like laptop by チルト on screen. With these operation styles, the terminal can deal with various conditions at home, in office, or in movement.  Besides, the fifth series white TFT crystal display made by Sharp is carried on the model. The big-size highly-clear screen provides webpage display without scrolling stripes and enables crystal clear pictures-taking with built-in camera.

2  Smart Phone WILLCOM03 by Sharp

Crystal display with embedded touching buttons, or Full Flat Surface is adopted to create comfortable using experience. Newly adopted illumination touch gains the model another point as a user-friendly terminal. One could watch digital TV with the embedded 1- seg tuner. Operation System adopted Microsoft’s latest platform for mobile device, the Japanese version of Microsoft® Windows Mobile® 6.1 Classic, which makes the model the first terminal adopted such OS.
