WILLCOM Forum & Expo. 2008

WILLCOM FORUM & EXPO2008 was held on May 28 and 29, 2008 in Tokyo. Over 3000 visitors including overseas delegates from China, Russia and Vietnam　participated in the event.

A notable number of audience listened to speeches on the forum, including the one given by Mr. Kikugawa, president of WILLCOM Inc.  This proves that WILLCOM’s future development has drawn close attention of many parties.

The latest released smart phone, WILLCOM CORE for XGP and various solution plans with PHS were exhibited during the exposition.  A part of the exhibited items is introduced below:

1  Smart Phone
The corner that displayed Touch and Try, the two latest released smart phone models attracted a notable number of visitors.

 

2  WILLCOM CORE for XGP

It is released on the exhibition that XGP service is to be named as WILLCOM CORE.  The introduction of WILLCOM CORE on the exhibition has attracted public attention.

 

 

 

 

3  Concept Model

Multiple models of concept device are displayed.
The picture shows an adaptor combining four 128kbps W-SIM cards. By doing this, data communication speed at 512kbps is realized. (Made by NetIndex)

 

 

 

4  Solution Plans with PHS

The picture shows data distribution to car navigation system. Car navigation system provided by Honda and Nissan has adopted the function.
