Various applications of PHS are introduced in this edition of newsletter.

In Exposition Report of CEATEC JAPAN 2007, a wide-range of PHS functions including wireless video, combination with camera and anti-crime system are introduced. By taking advantage of W-SIM module, maker’s cost on developing wireless devices reduced and various applications that suit various specific solution methods can be developed.

Besides, in NHO's new order to upgrade HOSPnet, it is introduced that PHS’ feature of minor effect to medical instrument due to its low electromagnetic wave is applied to upgrade telecommunication system for hospitals and other medical institutions.

We expect PHS to be used in more fields in future by exerting its advantages continuously to various creative solutions such as those illustrated above.
