TWG Meeting in Kunming, China 
The technical conference of the PHS MoU Technical Working Group (TWG) was held in Kunming, China on November 29 (Tue.) and 30 (Wed.), 2005 and approximately 50 engineers and representatives have participated in from the world.
The main subject of the conference was the next generation PHS technology and Mr. Wang Wei, Vice-President of Yunnan Telecom made a congratulatory (keynote) speech at the opening of the conference.
TWG made a presentation on recent technical results and after that, First International TELecom Corporation, Lucent Technologies, TRUE Corporation, UTStarcom Inc., ZTE Corporation, WILLCOM, Inc also made their presentation and the technical opinions have been exchanged between them. |
