About Starting of Roaming Service in Vietnam

After Taiwan and Thailand, WILLCOM has achieved roaming service in the third overseas area. With the cooperation from Hanoi Telecommunications, it will start to provide roaming service in the city of Hanoi from August 21, 2008 on.
With the increase of tourists’ number to Vietnam, WILLCOM begins to receive more and more inquiries from users. Besides, more and more Japanese companies are presenting themselves in Vietnam with its economic development, and it is expected that more roaming service will be in need in future.
It is already known that PHS service is started in the city of Hanoi and Ho Chi Min in December 2002 under the name of City Phone. WILLCOM hopes that the roaming service can encourage further communication between the two companies and accelerate cooperation concerning future PHS deployment.
